Many people dream of making money doing things they love! Many people dream of being a model for brands and wearing a brand that represents them!!! When I first started Instagram, I always posted pics of me having fun at school and my social life! Never did I think my social media platform would be transformed so much! Instagram has grown into a form of social media for people to express themselves through pictures but as well as marketing for companies! By posting only pictures, unlike other social media platforms, it gives people a chance to see exactly what others are doing! With this being said followers get a chance to see what their friends and fans are wearing, using and doing!

They look up to wearing a brand, using a product or even eating a certain thing they start wanting to do it! Instagram has started to become the new marketing advertisement for many things consisting of foods, workouts, brands, products, and almost anything else you can think of!!! Instagram even created a new feature where businesses can track views, reaches and even promote their content through adds to draw viewers into their sites! Once my first brand reached out to me I was flabbergasted! I have always been a ocean lover as well as adventure seeker! I have always been someone that didn’t want to grow up and be adventurous every where I went! I always had a camera with me and always took pictures of everything I did!! I think i got both qualities from my grandfather! He loved to travel as well as photography!
When I first started photography and Instagram weren’t a big thing! People mainly put what they were doing and it was nothing that interesting. Once the marketing factor came into play, its Like everyone wanted to grow their platforms and make their content better then everyone else’s! My first brand that found me was “@OceanAddictbrand.”
They contacted me out of the blue asking if I would be interested in marketing products for them! At first I wasn’t sure considering I didn’t know what this entitled!
I soon realized this brand was wanting to send me products for FREE to keep and post pictures in! Who doesn’t love free clothes, cozies, and other
products! I was quick to jump on the offer and
as soon as the products arrived I started taking pictures and posting content on my social
Media representing the brand!
After posting many pictures with the items I received, they started sharing the pictures onto their personal feed and before I knew it, I was on their WEBSITE adds! I was so happy with what I had done! I had no idea my life was about to change even more!
After a few months representing this brand they reached out and asked if I would be interested in making money with their products also! Of course I was down for that! I soon started receiving
Money into my account per post and per order they received from my page! Again, this was just the start!
Over the next few months I was posting
Like wildfire for the brand & happy with the income
That I was gathering all off my social media! Soon another brand found me and soon after that even more! Within the year to follow I made my platform Even bigger! I became sponsored by @OceanAddictBrand, @IslandBum, @NoraNyc @islandBlends @shakakaiOfficial and @ReeferBrand! I never in a million years thought my instagram would turn into such a big hit for brands. I have created such a network from it and have started to love the life of an influencer! Each brand sends me items when they come out and ask me to promote them to my followers! I then make posts of my everyday, normal life with the products and receive reposts to their personal websites! I am now posted on many websites, product racks, instagrams and even posters all for doing what I love on social media! My biggest highlight is that there is a large image of my travels in the Nassau, Bahamas Airport. All I have to say is a photo goes a long way and don’t forget that 😉
