WEDDING TIPS
• Plan Ahead: One of the biggest things I can stress is to plan ahead for your wedding. Do not wait last minute.
• Consider Everything: When factoring cost many do not thing about the small things. If your venue does not include everything make sure you consider plates, silverware, napkins, wedding favors, ETC.
• Guests: DO NOT WASTE MONEY on inviting every single person you have ever known. Once you announce your planning a wedding EVERYONE wants to come and bring a guest. Only invite the people that are closest to you and do not allow everyone a plus one. Be selective or else your invite list will double as well as price!
• Marriage License: Make sure to apply for marriage license at least two months in advance. You do not want it to be your wedding day and your marriage license is still not available.
• LASTLY ENJOY YOUR NIGHT!!!

How did we pick our venue:
Picking the perfect wedding venue is not easy if you both want to have a say. Some may be relaxed and let their spouse do all the work but others want to have an opinion also. When the time comes to pick a venue there’s a lot to consider. Always start with a budget! You don’t want to be that person that tours a venue and falls in love with it when it’s not realistic financially. Next consider how many guest you want to have. Your going to have many people reach out to you wanting to be invited but keep your invite list to the people that mean the most. What about the theme that you want? Do you want the beach vibe, elegant look, or barn style? What all does the venue includes? This can be a major role in your decision. Do they include tables and chairs? Do they include decorations? Are there any package deals?
Some venues may not have a bridal or groomsmen sweet while some will. Skyla and I had a hard time choosing our venue. We toured a total of 10 places while trying to stay open minded. We did like many but had a difficult time agreeing on which was meant for us. Finally we came across Love Lock Ranch which was referred to us by a friend. After touring it we knew we had finally found our venue. To start, it was the theme we were looking for, the great mixture of boho western and modern barn. It was owned and operated by two all around amazing sisters that were so proactive in creating everything we could have asked for. The bridal sweet was classy but continued to pull in the same theme as the barn. And the property was to die for.. Acres of land surrounded by cow pastures with a large lake which sat out back.
As we walked out, we didn’t even make it to the vehicles before we both said it was the keeper. It fit all our guest, it was within budget, it was our exact theme and we had two amazing owners to help us get our day to be as perfect as we dreamt. We were truly blessed to have came across this venue and wouldn’t have changed it for the world.

What’s better then having a mechanical bull at a bohemian style, ranch wedding?
You always see all these unique wedding entertainment ideas posted on Facebook that others have incorporated into their special day.
When looking at all these barn venues and seeing all the cattle and bulls on the property it gave me the idea of having a mechanical bull at our wedding. I felt as if this would be so astounding. A barn style wedding with a bull to ride, what sounds better!! When looking for this peice to the wedding we came across many different companies that offered them for the night. We decided to pick Oscar the bull owned by Dallas. He was a HIT! Dallas, the owner was actually a retired bull rider that decided he didn’t want to fully give up his passion of bull riding so he decided to invest in the mechanical bull business and give others the opportunity to ride a bull, mechanical of course. Dallas brought a splash of fun, told stories, gave some background knowledge on bull riding, helped pose for the best pictures and gave some great excitement to many! I’m so glad we went with his company as well as decided to have a mechanical bull at the wedding! It was worth every penny!
